Tom Araya, without cure! Dead Island

learn today that due to an illness, Tom Araya was hospitalized and Slayer had to cancel their performance at Soudwave Festival in Sydney.

The news appeared on the site Terrorizer, and here is the content:

Slayer Were forced to cancel yesterday's scheduled appearance at the Soundwave Festival in Sydney, Australia just an hour before they were due onstage after frontman Tom Araya was taken into hospital. Although details of his condition have yet to be released, his wife Sandra Araya issued the following statement on her Facebook page:

"SPOKE WITH TOM =) He's feeling much better! it will be a few days before test results come back... That's all I can say for now! whoo hoo!"
Whispers on the internet hinted at a "serious ear infection" being the reason he was hospitalised, but Sandra confirmed this to be untrue.

Here is the video game nerd that every lover of horror would have! Dead Island the first images and the trailer promises a sumptuous layer videogame, full of zombies and violence in the wild.

The story is simple: a tourist village is hit by an epidemic zombesca old style, the survivors will have to sell life dearly trying to fight their way to safety as chopping zombies as possible.

Sever The Wicked Hand is a beautiful brick in the face, well written, well played and well produced. ince forming in 1990 the band have released nine studio albums and several EP's. A large part of their career was spent recording for Earache Records, debuting with the landmark 1991 Doom Metal classic Forest of Equilibrium. This was followed by the seminal 1993 Ethereal Mirror album which was released by Columbia records in America to large critical acclaim.

More recently Cathedral have continued to expand on their overall sound, releasing two albums for the Nuclear Blast label. Dorrian continues; "Our latest album The Guessing Game is exactly where we wanted to be after all this time. Staying in one place, being repetitive and predictable is something we wanted to avoid right from the off."

The band's uncompromising individual style has gained them a large cult-following around the world. They recently reunited with the original line-up for their twentieth anniversary concert to perform their aforementioned debut in its entirety. They are scheduled to make several final live appearances 2011, including dates in Japan and at the Maryland Deathfest. More dates will follow including a farewell London show later in the year.

Del Sonisphere there are only three bands that interest me, Mastodon, Motörhead , especially Rob Zombie. When you never see him again live the good old Rob? And Motörhead, one of my favorite bands, I decide to see them live at least once?

The cons of this festival consists of those costs. Ninety euro ticket, plus travel and everything around us are a lot of money, perhaps too many to see me a lot of shit, and three bands that I like.

The Rock In IdRho is a short walk from home, comfortable and relatively (sixty euro ticket) statement. Foo Fighters, Iggy and Social Distortion throat makes me really, and I know that I would not be disappointed.

Sonisphere vs Rock Lake Victoria is a dangerous place

First I want to say that last year was a good, full of surprises and bands that I started to know just now. I guess we're even slightly above my expectations.

The Cathedral earn the top spot with an album that will remain in vogue for some time. It 's a comprehensive, well-recorded, with some very good ideas and also not too conventional of the pieces that stand for quality songwriting. It has everything to become a classic.

I The Sword in turn respond with a fabulous record as Warp Riders, a real bomb, because the more unexpected. Some pieces can literally exalt, and their metal that gives a nod to an unspecified later is what we need to give new hopes. The first place if they are played until the end.

It 's the turn of Quest For Fire, literally drenched in '90s Seattle! Their psychedelic grunge broke through in my heart, I can not deny it. Lights From Paradise is a very good album with nice sounds, an excellent songwriting and pieces that are printed in the head. I can not wait to see them at Roadburn!
