First I want to say that last year was a good, full of surprises and bands that I started to know just now. I guess we're even slightly above my expectations.
The Cathedral earn the top spot with an album that will remain in vogue for some time. It 's a comprehensive, well-recorded, with some very good ideas and also not too conventional of the pieces that stand for quality songwriting. It has everything to become a classic.
I The Sword in turn respond with a fabulous record as Warp Riders, a real bomb, because the more unexpected. Some pieces can literally exalt, and their metal that gives a nod to an unspecified later is what we need to give new hopes. The first place if they are played until the end.
It 's the turn of Quest For Fire, literally drenched in '90s Seattle! Their psychedelic grunge broke through in my heart, I can not deny it. Lights From Paradise is a very good album with nice sounds, an excellent songwriting and pieces that are printed in the head. I can not wait to see them at Roadburn!

All other album in the standings have something to say, from the surprise Tame Impala, passing by the immortal Fatso Jetson the ever discussed Electric Wizard, even though we are in the standings and how. Among the Italians there were the good old hard indeed. To mention a few names I say Loimann , From Captain Trips , Manthra Of , The Secret , Ufomammuth , Black Rainbows, Void Generator all really good ... and listen!

The disappointments we have been and are very bitter. Two names on everyone High On Fire and Torche .
From now HOF I do not expect much more time. Matt Pike is always a national hero, but if he stopped giving head and creating riffs also effective as well as a powerful and ultra-traditional would please everyone. Snakes For The Divine is tasteless, colorless, useless. Riffoni 80s fired a thousand per hour than ever scratch. They are heavy, but have the same effect of a chamomile after two plates of braised beef with polenta
In Torche instead had high hopes ... Meanderthal was one of the records I listened to most during the last twelve months, with a mix of melody, speed and heaviness that makes it incredibly varied and never boring. Songs For Singles hand, is a queer hard for gays. The ideas are left in the basket of dirty laundry, here you pull just live with emo choruses and the limit of irritant solutions so trivial to me piss and discounted. They were not to do this to me ...
